Terms of use
These are the terms for using Daryl's PS5 Stock Checker (playstationstockchecker.com). By using the site or buying an Alert Pass you agree to them. They're short on purpose.
What the site is
The site reads PlayStation console stock from retailers' own product pages and shows you what it finds. It's an independent utility run by Daryl Leigh in England. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Sony Interactive Entertainment or any retailer. “PlayStation”, “PS5” and “PlayStation Portal” are trademarks of Sony Interactive Entertainment and are used only to describe what the site checks.
What we can't promise
Stock comes from what each retailer's own page says and is shown as we read it. Stock moves fast, a retailer can change its page at any time, and some pages can't be read at all (those are shown as “Couldn't check”), so we can't guarantee a console will still be there when you reach the checkout. Always confirm on the retailer's page before you buy. We also can't guarantee the site will be available every minute of every day, or that an alert email will reach you if your mail provider delays or filters it.
Free use
Checking stock is free and you don't need an account. Please use the site as a person would — don't scrape it, hammer it with automated requests, or try to resell its data. We may limit or block use that gets in the way of other people.
Accounts
Stock alerts need a free account so we know where to send them. You sign in with a code we email you; there's no password. Keep your email account secure, as anyone with access to it can sign in as you.
The Alert Pass
The Alert Pass turns on email alerts for the consoles and country you choose. You can buy it either as a one-off pass, which runs for 30 days from purchase and then simply ends — nothing renews — or as a monthly subscription, which renews each month at the price shown at checkout until you cancel.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payment is taken by card through Stripe; we never see your card details. Promo codes are a bonus we can withdraw at any time, and they can't be exchanged for cash.
Cancelling and refunds
Subscription: cancel whenever you like from Manage subscription on the site. You'll keep alerts until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Refunds: because the pass starts working the moment you pay, you're asking us to begin the service immediately and you agree that the 14-day cooling-off period won't apply. Passes and subscription payments are non-refundable once activated. If something's gone wrong on our side — the pass didn't activate, or you were charged twice — contact us and we'll sort it out.
Your alerts and data
How we handle your email address and alerts is covered in our privacy notice.
Liability
The site is provided as-is. We're not responsible for a missed console, an order a retailer cancels, or any other loss that comes from relying on stock information or alerts. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under UK law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the date below shows the current version. If you keep using the site after a change, that's your agreement to the new version.
